“Tomorrow I get to..”

I can feel the excitement and wonder emanating from these two as they reminisce over their shared experiences at Industrial Light and Magic. That alone is enough to keep me engaged. It was great hearing about how Lorne discovered and introduced Cyanoacrylyte glue and small scale injection molding to their build capabilities. They are careful to point out that every job is going to have those tedious and uninspiring tasks. They go back a few times and talk about how great it was to be excited and fulfilled in their work.

For me, this video reminds me that I need to find the things in my career that trigger that sense of excitement. Seek out the things “I get to do”.
