Recent Projects
This is a running list of projects I led or played a key part in completing.
Sometimes it is a bit challenging to keep track of all of the different things I have done.
In a recent conversation, I was asked the question “were these projects that you managed or did you do the work?” On each of these projects, I performed most of the tasks myself or held a key role in their completion.
In between projects I am also a top tier escalation point. As of May 2022, our organization has ~4900 workstations and 550 servers under management. A mix of systems ranging from single servers to full blown private and public cloud solutions.
In the middle of August or so, I took on a new responsibility and began managing the weekly project meetings. I worked with the procurement manager to help streamline the process and make project management more efficient. We built a process where won sales orders get converted within our CRM, they become projects. After project creation, we apply a template with predefined work steps. Then in the project meetings, I work with the engineers and management to assign tasks or whole projects. In between meetings, we track progress and updates using our CRM. This resulted in an immediate improvement in communication, resource management and better flow from sales to project completion and invoicing.

Server crash – Recover failed Hyper-V server, replace drives and raid card, restore guests and rebuild network

SharePoint Migration (assist) – Migrate Data from on premise file server to Microsoft 365, configure user systems to sync data
